The name means friend.

Bwenzi is a Nyanja word, the language spoken across eastern Zambia and Malawi, and it means friend, or fellowship.

Who we are

Bwenzi is a Christian-owned and veteran-owned software company based in Charlotte, North Carolina. We're independent and bootstrapped. Just software made carefully, for churches, families, and communities.

What we believe about your privacy

We honor your privacy the way we want our own honored. That means a few concrete promises, not a vibe:

• We protect your information. When we study how an app is used to make it better, that data is anonymized. We see the patterns, not the people.
• We never sell your information, and we never use it for advertising. There are no ads in our apps. Not on the free plan, not on any plan.
• We don't track you across the web. No ad SDKs, no cross-site trackers, no surveillance.
• What we do keep, we protect, with encryption and access controls.
• You can leave clean. Delete your account and your data whenever you decide. It's your information, and you should be able to take it back.

What we build

We build AI and machine learning software for churches, families, and communities. Everything we make is ad-free, private by default, and meant to be a joy to use.
